Designing a cylinder for a children’s toy company is no easy feat. There are countless considerations — from safety and durability to visual appeal and usability. With Jigsaw Jungle, we aimed to create something more than just a toy; we wanted to develop a product that sparks curiosity and imagination while also feeling right at home in a modern space. Toys today aren’t what they used to be — they’re smarter, more design-conscious, and often play a dual role as both entertainment and décor. With that in mind, we crafted packaging that wouldn’t just be another colorful plastic box tossed aside once the kids grow up. Instead, it was important that this jigsaw puzzle felt like something worth keeping — not only for playtime but also as a charming, intentional object.
Our branding approach leaned into subtlety and sophistication, avoiding loud graphics and leaning into a palette of soft tones and tactile textures. The result is a piece that looks just as good on a bookshelf as it does on the playroom floor. We wanted this toy to feel inviting and accessible, something you’re naturally drawn to on a rainy afternoon or during a screen-free moment with the family. By focusing on aesthetics and thoughtful design, we’ve tapped into the rising trend of beautiful, minimalist toys that young parents are currently gravitating toward. This packaging isn’t about making a loud sales pitch — it’s about fitting seamlessly into the rhythm of home life. It hits that sweet spot between fun for kids and style for parents, creating a product that feels timeless and intentional.
